Supervisory board of the University of Business and Science 

The Supervisory board operates in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the University’s Charter and these Regulations.

Main Authorities of the Supervisory board:

• Approving and overseeing the university’s strategic development program.
• Formulating and discussing the medium-term business plan.
• Defining admission parameters for educational fields and specializations.
• Assessing the activities of the rector and vice-rectors.
• Organizing financial control services and receiving reports.

Powers of the Chairperson of the Supervisory board:

• Setting the agenda and convening council meetings.
• Approving and overseeing council decisions.
• Approving and discussing the annual work plan.
• Representing the council in state bodies and other organizations.

Responsibilities of the Secretary of the Supervisory board:

• Providing organizational and technical support for the council’s activities.
• Preparing and approving meeting documents.
• Informing council members.
• Monitoring the implementation of council decisions.

Meeting Procedures of the Supervisory board:

• Meetings are held as needed, but at least once every quarter.
• Decisions are made by a majority vote.
• Agenda items are sent to council members in advance.
• Meeting minutes are officially recorded and preserved.
